George Symons
CEO - Yosemite Technologies
George Symons serves as CEO of Yosemite Technologies. Mr. Symons brings broad experience in storage software development, business development, and building successful global businesses to the role. As CEO, Mr. Symons is responsible for all global operations including sales, marketing, finance, professional services, product development, and business development. Mr. Symons joined Yosemite from EMC, where he served as CTO for Information Management, responsible for defining EMC's product and technical strategy. He also played key roles in the integration of Legato enterprise backup and recovery products and Documentum content management software into EMC. Prior to EMC, Mr. Symons held positions within Legato including CTO, VP of Product Management and Marketing, and VP of Development and Product Management. He was involved in the integration of the acquisition of Legato by EMC. Prior to that he was VP of Engineering at FullTime Software, VP of Marketing at Software Research and PROCASE Corporation, and also held product marketing and product management positions at Sun Microsystems.
Jack Russo
Founding Partner Russo & Hale LLP
Jack Russo is the founding partner in the Palo Alto law firm of Russo & Hale LLP (www.computerlaw.com). The firm's focus is in representing entrepreneurs and companies in the protection of their ideas, inventions, and businesses; the firm specializes in the areas of Internet, e-commerce, software and other intellectual property protection, infringement, and licensing. Mr. Russo originated of the early thinking on IP protection of the "look and feel" of computer software and he has been involved in a number of software cases. His 1985 article Copyright in the "Look and Feel" of Computer Software published in The Computer Lawyer pioneers the subject. Mr. Russo is a member of the State Bars of California, New York, and Washington, D.C., a Judge Pro Temp for the Santa Clara Superior Court, and an Arbitrator and Mediator for the US District Court for the Northern District of California as well as for the American Arbitration Association, and Chairman of the Foundation for Creativity in Dispute Resolution, a non-profit organization.
Tony Schehtman
President and Managing Partner, International Technologies Marketing
Tony Schehtman has served as President and Managing Partner of International Technologies Marketing (ITM) since 2004. ITM is a consulting firm focused on Infrastructure technologies for the enterprise with a pan-American presence. Mr. Schehtman has more than 17 years experience in developing and managing domestic, international, channel, and distribution sales operations as well as a long history of engagements with large infrastructure customers such as Wall Street financial service firms and various industry OEM suppliers. Prior to joining ITM, Mr. Schehtman served as the VP of Sales and Business Development successively at Datacore Software, MonoSphere, and SANchips, successfully establishing and developing OEM relationships and establishing a track record of success in sales traction. As a veteran of high tech startups, Mr. Stehtman has also been involved in successfully securing early funding rounds from Tier 1 venture capital firms for half a dozen companies.
Jordan Berg
Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer - Questus
Jordan Berg brings over a decade of advertising experience to Questus and is recognized for his dynamic brand-building innovation and thinking across multi-disciplined teams and marketing channels. During his career, Mr. Berg has successfully completed projects for world-class brands such Verizon, Suzuki, Reuters, Capital One, Disney, and ESPN, and has been recognized by his peers by receiving awards from leading organizations such as The Webbys, Web Marketing Association, and Communication Arts. Mr. Berg is a regular contributor to Fox Business, iMedia Connection, and Media Magazine and speaks at national conferences including ad:tech and SHOP.ORG.
Luke Saban
CFO, Fiserv
Luke Saban is the CFO of Fiserv Workers Compensation Division. With a career spanning over 20 years, Mr. Saban has held executive management positions at John Mansville, a Berkshire Hathaway company and eBreviate, Inc., a supplier relationship management software subsidiary of EDS, as well as tenures at Price Waterhouse and AlliedSignal, Inc. (now Honeywell International). Mr. Saban has led M&A teams and has significant experience in finance and general management.
Mark Brubaker
Mark Brubaker brings over 25 years of experience in technology leadership with a significant focus in the areas of infrastructure solutions. Most recently, Mr. Brubaker was the VP of Communications and Collaboration IT at Cisco where he championed the use of collaborative technologies to drive globalization efforts. He was also instrumental in the technology integration of the WebEx acquisition. Prio to Cisco, Mr. Brubaker spent 9 years with Countrywide Financial Corporation in roles that included EVP of Global Infrastructure and Chief Architect. Other roles included Director of Global Infrastructure for Disney Consumer Products, Owner of Systematic Technologies (an IT consultancy), and Western Region Account Manager for a large technology services company.
Dr. Sam David Haddad
Chairman of HERAC
Dr. Sam David Haddad is Chairman of HERAC and has a long history in high technology. He has more than 30 years of experience in engineering research and development, management consulting, new production development and introduction, vibration/acoustics problem solving, and training, working with many Fortune 500 companies during this time. He has also consulted with the boards of several companies, including nVidia, Applied Materials, IBM, Cisco, SAIC, NASA, and EPRI, on the Advisory Council of the Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs (SVASE), and on the Board of Advisors of Technology Ventures Corporation. Dr. Haddad is currently a Consulting Professor of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University and President and CEO of HTCS, a professional services consulting firm located in San Jose, California.
