InMage Exhibits Newly Released vContinuum & Scout 6.0 at The Risk Management & Business Continuity Forum

The Risk Management & Business Continuity Forum has been specifically designed to help companies plan the formal aspects of risk evaluation. InMage along with EssentialNET will demonstrate newly released solutions, Scout 6.0, their award winning flagship backup and disaster recovery software and vContinuum which was designed for disk backup and disaster recovery of VMware ESX/vSphere virtual machine (VM) environments.
InMage Scout is the only unified product on the market featuring best-in-class, CDP-based backup and remote disaster recovery support for most major enterprise platforms, including Windows, AIX, Linux, VMware, Solaris, XenServer and Hyper-V. With this introduction, Scout becomes the only product that features both asynchronous IP and synchronous FC-based data protection without imposing software-based storage virtualization on customers. InMage offers a tremendous advantage over competing products and provides true heterogeneous storage support in any environment. Supported languages include Chinese, German and French.
InMage Scout 6.0 also features extended Oracle support, including recovery wizards for Oracle on Linux/Unix and CDP-based support for Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC). This results in greater ease of use than any block-level replication products. The release also includes support for enterprise UNIX and clustering (AIX, Solaris clusters and Linux clusters). And with its cost-effective scalability, InMage Scout offers organizations unified protection for hundreds of servers, both physical and virtual.
InMage vContinuum offers small and medium-sized businesses a single, cost-effective solution for backup and replication in virtual environments. Highlights of vContinuum include: elimination of backup windows (data is backed up to disk real-time 24x7); application consistency (on Windows and Linux); long-term data retention on disk; file-level recovery within seconds; and optimized utilization of target storage capacity (target VMs are thin provisioned).
EssentialNET provides all hardware, software and services required to deploy InMage and manage it on an ongoing basis. EssentialNET will demo InMage pre-installed onto the SGI Origin 400 Workload Server/SAN Chassis.
