InMage Systems Flagship Solution Integrated by Quest Software to Provide Compelling Continuous Data Protection for Microsoft Exchange Environments

InMage’s DR-Scout is First CDP Solution to be Natively Supported by Quest Recovery Manager, Creating a Compelling Value Proposition for Microsoft Exchange Customers

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – May 28, 2008 – InMage Systems®, Inc. today announced that Quest® Software is integrating support for InMage’s flagship DR-Scout solution within its Quest Recovery Manager for Exchange®, an e-discovery solution for Microsoft® Exchange backups. This partnership creates a comprehensive and functionally rich continuous data protection (CDP) offering for organizations with Exchange-based messaging and collaboration infrastructures. Customers can now take advantage of DR-Scout in conjunction with Quest Recovery Manager to gain simple, cost-effective protection and recovery of critical Exchange data in the event of natural disasters or operational failures.

DR-Scout is a turnkey disaster recovery and business continuity software product that addresses both the local and remote data center with innovative features such as bi-directional replication and highly granular, event-based recovery. When combined with Quest Recovery Manager for Exchange, it provides customers a seamless solution for continuous data protection and real-time recovery of Exchange data. Quest Recovery Manager for Exchange allows individual, message-level items - including emails, appointments, tasks, contacts and attachments - to be restored from regular Exchange backups, un-mounted .edb information stores and Lotus Domino .nsf files without setting up a dedicated recovery server. With these capabilities, organizations can reduce the cost of e-discovery while providing end users with message-level data recovery services.
