InMage Systems Plans New Initiatives to Build on Channel Success and Customer Growth
Company to expand worldwide channel programs in 2009
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – February 4, 2009 – InMage Systems® (www.inmage.com), a leading provider of disaster recovery and business continuity software, announced a record year that saw significant growth in the channel, vertical markets and overall revenue. As a direct result of its channel-centric programs and initiatives, InMage increased its reseller base and added over 100 new customers in 2008. The company also expanded its presence in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific regions, opening new offices and partnering with leading integrators and distributors in the respective territories.
With over 75 end user and channel events held throughout the country, InMage grew its market share among the healthcare, legal, and state and local government organizations. The company added distinguished organizations such as the New Mexico Administrative Office of the District Attorneys, Howard Rice Nemerovski Canady Falk & Rabkin Law, Heritage Bank of the South and Novant Health to its client base. Additionally, InMage’s commitment to virtualization resulted in a high success rate with partners focused on the VMware and virtualization markets, with over 70% of InMage deployments occurring in virtual environments. InMage was also included in the list of "Cool Vendors" in the Cool Vendors in Data Protection 2008 report by Gartner, Inc.
“We are thrilled about what we accomplished in 2008 and plan to build on that success in 2009," said John Ferraro, president and CEO, InMage Systems. “This year’s initiatives will focus heavily on our greatest supporter, the channel. In addition to expanding the channel advisory board we put in place last year, we’ll introduce new programs designed to provide additional sales, support and marketing resources necessary for our partners. We also hope to duplicate our record growth in North America with our teams in the EMEA and APAC regions, who are working very hard to grow InMage’s market share worldwide."
