InMage to Present at Wall Street Technology Association’s Data Infrastructure Efficiency Conference
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – March 8, 2010 – InMage® (www.inmage.com), the leading independent software vendor of disk-based, business application recovery solutions for mid tier and larger enterprises, announced that Senior Systems Engineer Ray Bernard will speak at the Data Infrastructure Efficiency Conference, hosted by the Wall Street Technology Association. This event is designed to define the solution set constituting the “new normal” data center technology and operations. InMage has special expertise and experience in the financial services market, with numerous clients in the banking, insurance, investment and trading industries. The WSTA conference will be held March 11 at the Westin New York at Times Square.
Bernard will deliver a presentation entitled “Data Protection: A New Paradigm.” Topics that will be covered include integrated recovery solutions that combine backup, disaster recovery and application recovery into a single platform to lower costs while addressing business issues such as compliance and service-level agreements. Bernard will also discuss next generation recovery technologies such as continuous data protection, heterogeneous asynchronous replication, and automated application recovery, highlighting the business value they offer to both small and large enterprises.
Raymond Bernard is a senior systems engineer with InMage. He has over 17 years of experience in the fields of solution architecture, storage network architecture, and project management systems/integration engineering. Mr. Bernard held senior engineering positions at Dell, McData, Storage Networks, Compaq, and Digital Equipment Corp, where he helped unlock the promise of networked storage for enterprise customers. He is an award-winning engineer that has led IT consulting engagements at major Wall Street firms. Formerly an adjunct professor at Columbia University, he holds a number of technical certifications from HP, McData (Brocade) and IBM.
