InMage Software Recognized as One of ChannelWeb’s “10 Demystifying Cloud Computing Products” for Cloud Connect 2010
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – March 29, 2010 – InMage® (www.inmage.com), the leading independent software vendor of disk-based, business application recovery solutions for mid tier and larger enterprises, announced its product was recognized as one of ChannelWeb’s “10 Demystifying Cloud Computing Products” from Cloud Connect 2010. One of InMage’s Cloud Services Partners, vBC Solutions, was also named in the feature and utilizes InMage as the core technology in its virtual Business Continuity Cloud infrastructure. Cloud Connect was held March 15-18 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
“We are fortunate to have had such a positive reception to our cloud-based disaster and application recovery offering,” said Eric Burgener, senior vice president of marketing and product management, InMage. “We’ve designed the product to meet the needs of cloud infrastructure providers and managed service providers. With our licensing model, providers can flex up and down to meet changing client requirements, while our unique hybrid recovery architecture scales easily on the back end without requiring any changes to client-side configurations. InMage also supports a range of tiered services offerings with extremely low overhead on client-side servers and networks, working equally well for both smaller and larger configurations.
"It was great to exhibit alongside InMage at the Cloud Connect event,” stated Rob Tellone, CEO of vBC Solutions (RPC). “You could feel the excitement in the booth throughout the entire show. It was compelling to watch the attendees as they began to understand the strength of InMage's solutions and the power they can have in the cloud. This is exactly why vBC Solutions selected the InMage technology. It is really a three-in-one solution that enables the vBC Solutions to recover data locally, remotely, as well as entire application sets.”
