InMage Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer Kumar Malavalli Named as One of CRN’s Storage Superstars 2010

Kumar Malavalli is widely considered to be a leading visionary in network storage fabrics, the fundamental technology that is behind the multi-billion dollar industry of storage networking. As a co-founder of InMage, he brings this visionary expertise to bear in developing data and application recovery solutions that are storage-agnostic and able to protect servers whether they are using direct-attached or network-attached storage.

He is a past chairman of the ANSI T11 Technical Committee, was inducted into the Silicon Valley Engineering Council Hall of Fame in 2003, received the prestigious INCITS award for extraordinary leadership in developing numerous SAN industry standards, and established the Kumar Malavalli Endowed Chair in Storage Systems Research at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He holds several patents in the Fibre Channel arena.
