InMage to Present at INTERFACE Boise 2010

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – August 12, 2010 – InMage® (www.inmage.com), the leading independent software vendor of disk-based, business application recovery solutions for mid tier and larger enterprises, will present at INTERFACE 2010, taking place August 12th at the Boise Centre in Idaho. INTERFACE is a premier forum for face-to-face interaction between local technology professionals, industry-leading manufacturers, and regional value-added resellers. The focus for this one-day event is business-to-business matchmaking based on the advances in information/network security, business continuity/disaster recovery planning, data storage, regulatory compliance and enterprise communications.

Eric Burgener, senior vice president of product management for InMage, will present a session titled "How to Protect and Recover Virtual Machine Environments" on Thursday, August 12, at 11:20 a.m. in Theatre 3. This presentation will address the recovery challenges of virtual machine environments as well as a number of next generation recovery technologies which can be used to help meet these requirements.

“As virtual server technology is deployed more commonly in production, recovery issues like backup, disaster recovery, and high availability must be addressed,” says Burgener. “Next generation data protection technologies like continuous data protection, application snapshot APIs, asynchronous replication, and storage capacity optimization can be used together to provide low overhead, application-aware recovery that addresses both local and remote recovery requirements in virtualized environments.”
