InMage Systems Announces Expansion in Asia Pacific Region
Bob Sandie Promoted to Senior Vice President of Asia Pacific and Channel Sales
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – October 7, 2008 – InMage Systems, Inc.® (www.inmage.com) today announced its expansion into the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. InMage veteran Bob Sandie has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Asia Pacific and Channel Sales. In his new role, his responsibilities include driving revenue growth in all APAC markets, expanding sales and business development partnerships, and increasing InMage’s deployment and support throughout the region. Mr. Sandie will also oversee the company’s worldwide channel sales organization. The APAC announcement is part of a strategic international expansion that includes Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and addresses growing demand for disaster recovery and business continuity solutions around the globe.
“I’m very pleased about this opportunity to spearhead InMage’s APAC expansion at a time when disaster recovery is ascending in business priority on a global scale," said Bob Sandie, Senior Vice President of Asia Pacific and Channel Sales, InMage Systems. "Surveys have indicated that Asia Pacific companies may still be vulnerable to disruptions from natural disasters or everyday outages, and require a more comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity strategy. InMage’s DR-Scout is a broad yet flexible solution that can help these businesses protect and recover their data while improving overall IT and employee productivity."
Mr. Sandie has over 15 years of executive-level experience in the software industry, specializing in business development and new markets. Prior to joining InMage, he served as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Operations for Solidcore Systems, an IT change control and governance company. During his tenure, he assembled enterprise, channel, business development and OEM sales teams that achieved rapid growth in this emerging technology space. Mr. Sandie also previously served as Vice President of Global Alliances for IONA Technologies, a SOA infrastructure company, and managed business development at webMethods, a provider of business process integration software. His previous experience includes executive positions with Veritas/Seagate Software, Macro 4 Inc., Knowledge Direct, Inc. and Sumitomo America.
