HERAC
Welcome to the HERAC web site!
HERAC is a group composed of executive-level information technology (IT) practitioners drawn from institutions of higher education that manage IT operations and have responsibility for or participate in the formation of IT infrastructure recovery plans.
HERAC’s mission is to provide a forum where council members can discuss best practices in data and application recovery, sharing information and experiences concerning requirements and real-world use of various solutions, as well as learn about new technologies that affect or are likely to affect recovery capabilities in the future. HERAC meets twice a year and is composed of a select group of higher education IT executives and academicians that share an interest in IT infrastructure recovery related topics, including local and remote data protection, disaster recovery, and high availability.
If you’re interested in learning more about HERAC, you can contact HERAC Chairman Dr. Sam David Haddad at sdhaddad@inmage.com
