“We implemented InMage Scout to meet our data replication and migration needs. With InMage, we could string storage together using a logical unit size expansion (LUSE) of 1 to 4 TB volumes, and the block sizes can be of any value. We used InMage to replicate from odd block sizes to standard block sizes. Once our entire storage systems were standard block sizes, we used the HDS native tools to move data between frames. InMage is absolutely the best tool to use if you LUSE volumes together of different block sizes and would like to move data to a larger block size volume. InMage would also benefit any company that has storage systems that are new or old, and is looking at different options other than the native tools or off-the-shelf tools to replicate data.
