Exchange Failover & Failback
Email and messaging systems are vital to everyday operations, and the Exchange server is the most widely used. When a company's Exchange server goes down, it can have devastating effects on business productivity, whether it is a single email or hours of correspondence that are lost. Keeping the Exchange server up and running and ensuring guaranteed Exchange failover is key to staying in business.
InMage eliminates the worry of Exchange server downtime, by providing continuous data protection (CDP) and Exchange failover/failback. With the push of a button, your organization can failover your critical applications from the primary site to a secondary server or site in case of a disaster with near zero RPO and RTO. This mean there is no loss of valuable emails, and no interruption in communication with partners, customers, suppliers and employees.
With InMage, Exchange failover can be either local or remote, or both, depending on your business requirements and available infrastructure. Remote protection takes place over a dedicated or shared TCP/IP-based WAN. InMage restores individual mail objects back to exhange servers, and provides advanced capabilities such as searches (even in un-mounted EDB files) via keyword, date, sender or recipient name, or subject.
